Novomed
Novomed is an independent, privately owned Austrian company specializing in medical device distribution. Founded in 1986 by Manfred Maresch and Rudolf Helm, the company initially focused on cardiac surgery. In addition to its headquarters in Vienna, Novomed has maintained an office in Upper Austria since 1994. After 35 successful years, Mr. Maresch retired and transferred his shares to his partner, Rudolf Helm, in January 2021. From that point on, Josef Helm temporarily managed the company together with his father, Rudolf Helm, and has been the sole managing director of Novomed since January 1, 2023. The company thus remains 100% privately owned and independent of any corporate group.

Our clientele includes healthcare facilities throughout Austria (hospitals, rehabilitation centers, sanatoriums, medical practices, the Red Cross, etc.).
